Hair-raising modelling jobs
When the time comes to settle down and start a family, it may also be time you thought about tying the knot, if you've not completed that stage yet. Marriage is not for everyone but for those who decide to go ahead with it, then the wedding day is one of the most important days in their lives. Men will generally 'go with the flow' and although they want to look good, they're not overly concerned that the suit they've chosen is crease-free. For women, it's a completely different ball game. How many weddings have you been to where everyone's head turns to comment on how good the groom looks? None I'd guess. Hair is high on the list of priorities for women and there are modelling jobs out there that concentrate of this part of the anatomy.
If you go into a hairdressing salon (be it the male or female variety), you will see countless posters of different styles of hair design plastered on the walls. Unlike other types of advertising (and that's what we're basically talking about here), the only way you could portray different hairstyles without involving the human element would be to place a wig on an artificial head. That's not particularly realistic if you're a woman trying to make a decision - and let's face it, you've got one shot on your wedding day of getting your hair right, because if you've had it cut on the way, you sure can't glue the pieces back on!
